What this is

Auto-Coursera is a free, open-source Chrome extension that uses AI to help answer Coursera quiz questions. There are no accounts, no payments, and no subscriptions. You install it, configure an API key, and use it.

No warranty

This extension is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. AI-generated answers are not guaranteed to be correct — they can be wrong, incomplete, or outdated.

You are responsible for reviewing all answers before submitting them. Do not blindly trust any AI output.

Academic responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use this tool. Auto-Coursera is intended as a study aid — a way to check your understanding and learn from AI explanations.

It is your responsibility to comply with your institution's academic integrity policies and Coursera's Terms of Service. The developers of this extension do not encourage or endorse academic dishonesty.

AI limitations

The extension sends quiz questions to third-party AI providers (such as OpenRouter, Google Gemini, Groq, Cerebras, or NVIDIA). The developers of Auto-Coursera do not control the accuracy, availability, or behavior of these services.

You provide your own API key and connect directly to the provider's API. You are subject to each provider's own terms of service and usage policies.

No liability

The developers of Auto-Coursera are not liable for any academic consequences, incorrect answers, account actions by Coursera or your institution, or any other damages arising from the use of this extension.

You use this tool at your own risk.

Open source

The full source code is available on GitHub under the MIT License. You can inspect exactly what the extension does, how it handles your data, and how it communicates with AI providers.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
